Convert FIT to JIF
Convert FIT images to JIF format, edit and optimize images online and free.
FIT and FITS both stand for an identical format. FITS is a well-established format for the exchange and archiving of astronomical data. It is supported by the International Astronomical Union, NASA, and other national and international bodies engaged in astronomy and related fields.
JIF and JPG both stand for an identical format. JPEG Interchange Format, abbreviated JIF, is a digital file format for storing raster graphics much like in JPG and JPEG formats. JIF files use JPEG lossy compression algorithms to reduce the final file size.
Select any FIT image you wish to convert by clicking the Choose File button.
Use any available FIT to JIF tools on the preview page and click Convert.
Let the conversion process finish, then download your JIF image.
Rotate FIT to right (90° clockwise), to left (90° counter-clockwise), 180°, and convert it to JIF.
Flip FIT vertically and/or horizontally (flop), and convert it to JIF.
Convert FIT to JIF and change the JIF quality by adjusting the JPEG compression level.
Convert FIT to progressive JIF.
