Flexible Image Transport System, abbreviated FITS, is an open standard designed for scientific (especially astronomical) data acquisition. FITS format is the most used digital file format in astronomy.
DIB is a raster graphics file format developed by Microsoft in 1987, as Windows 2.0 was being developed. It was designed to store bitmaps in a Device Independent Bitmap (DIB) file, making it easy for Windows to view it on different displays without using graphics adapters.
Drag & drop any FITS file from your device or click the Choose File button to proceed.
Before clicking the Convert button, use any available FITS to DIB tools.
You will be redirected to the download page to see the conversion status and download your DIB file.
Rotate FITS to right (90° clockwise), to left (90° counter-clockwise), 180°, and convert it to DIB.
Flip FITS vertically and/or horizontally (flop), and convert it to DIB.
To change FITS format to DIB, upload your FITS file to proceed to the preview page. Use any available tools if you want to edit and manipulate your FITS file. Click on the convert button and wait for the convert to complete. Download the converted DIB file afterward.
