Flexible Image Transport System, abbreviated FITS, is an open standard designed for scientific (especially astronomical) data acquisition. FITS format is the most used digital file format in astronomy.
RAS and SR both stand for an identical format. A file with a RAS extension is the Sun Raster image file format developed by Sun Microsystems for their Unix platforms using SunOS operating system. This format supports storing monochrome, grayscale, and color-bitmapped data of any bitmap depth, and lossless data compression using RLE.

To change FITS format to RAS, upload your FITS file to proceed to the preview page. Use any available tools if you want to edit and manipulate your FITS file. Click on the convert button and wait for the convert to complete. Download the converted RAS file afterward.
