Convert IGS to STP

The STP file extension stands for "Standard for the Exchange of Product Model" (STEP) and is used for 3D CAD files. Developed by the ISO in 1984, this format facilitates the exchange of digital models between different CAD systems, enhancing interoperability and collaboration in engineering and manufacturing. STP files store 3D object data in a text format that includes geometric and functional product information, supporting various stages of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). They are widely adopted in industries such as automotive, aerospace, and industrial design for sharing complex 3D models.
