Convert JFIF to BIE
Convert JFIF images to BIE format, edit and optimize images online and free.
The JPEG File Interchange Format (JFIF), developed by the Joint Photographic Experts Group, is a standardized method of storing and transferring JPEG-compressed images. Introduced in 1991, JFIF ensures compatibility and interoperability among different platforms and applications. It is extensively used in digital imaging and multimedia for efficient image compression, which reduces file size without significant loss of quality. As a widely adopted format, JFIF supports a range of devices and software, making it a cornerstone in computer graphics and online image sharing.
The BIE file extension, associated with the Joint Bi-level Image Experts Group, stands for "Binary Image Entity". This format was developed for efficient compression of binary images, primarily used in fax transmissions. Introduced in 1993, JBIG1 provided lossless compression, outperforming earlier standards like CCITT Group 3 and 4. It was later succeeded by JBIG2, which offered improved compression efficiency for bi-level images.
Drag and drop or manually select the JFIF file from your system.
Use conversion tools to process JFIF image into BIE image.
After the BIE conversion finishes, click Download to retrieve the file.
Rotate JFIF to right (90° clockwise), to left (90° counter-clockwise), 180°, and convert it to BIE.
Flip JFIF vertically and/or horizontally (flop), and convert it to BIE.
