These vector graphics files can contain multiple pages with various elements and can be zoomed in without losing quality. The OpenDocument format is maintained by a technical committee in the OASIS consortium.
The PBM which stands for Portable Bit-Map is a simple structured monochrome raster image format designed by Jef Poskanzer in the 1980s. It was intended to transmit bitmaps over the email messages as the plain ASCII text.
