PPT is a file format used by Microsoft PowerPoint to store presentation data. It was introduced in 1987 and can save presentations with slides, text, shapes, animations, audio and video clips, and embedded objects. ODG stands for OpenDocument Graphics, an open file format for graphics using ZIP-compressed XML files. The OpenDocument format is maintained by a technical committee in the OASIS consortium.
