Convert SVG FONT to EOT

Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) is an XML-based vector image format developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) in 1999. It is widely used for defining two-dimensional graphics, including fonts, due to its ability to scale without loss of quality. SVG fonts, defined using the <font> element, enable embedding glyph information directly within SVG files, ensuring correct text rendering across different platforms. The format's history began with six competing proposals in 1998, leading to its adoption as a W3C standard in 2001.

Embedded OpenType (EOT) is a compact font format developed by Microsoft for use on web pages. It embeds TrueType fonts into a website, enabling consistent and accessible typography across different platforms and browsers. Introduced in the late 1990s, EOT was designed to address the challenges of font compatibility and bandwidth limitations. It allows web designers to ensure a uniform appearance of text, thereby enhancing the visual consistency of online content. EOT files are primarily used in older web projects and have been largely superseded by the more versatile Web Open Font Format (WOFF).
