An XLC file is a chart created by Microsoft Excel. It stores data from an Excel spreadsheet that was exported into the Chart format. However, support for XLC files was dropped with the release of Excel 2007 and they are now rare since they are no longer supported by Excel.
The ODS file format is an OpenDocument Spreadsheet format used by applications such as OpenOffice.org Calc and LibreOffice Calc. It contains typical spreadsheet data and can be opened by several programs, including Microsoft Excel. ODS files can also be converted to other file formats like XLSX, CSV, and PDF.
