Flexible Image Transport System, abbreviated FITS, is an open standard designed for scientific (especially astronomical) data acquisition. FITS format is the most used digital file format in astronomy.
The PGM which stands for Portable Gray-Map is a simple structured grayscale raster image format designed by Jef Poskanzer in the 1980s. It was designed to easily exchange binary images between different platforms.
Select any FITS image you wish to convert by clicking the Choose File button.
Use the tools available for converting FITS to PGM and click the Convert button.
When the conversion status changes to successful, click on the Download button to get the final PGM image.
To change FITS format to PGM, upload your FITS file to proceed to the preview page. Use any available tools if you want to edit and manipulate your FITS file. Click on the convert button and wait for the convert to complete. Download the converted PGM file afterward.
