HEIC, abbreviated from High-Efficiency Image Container, is an image file container that uses High-Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC, ITU-T H.265) for storing multiple images in a single file. HEIC is used natively in Apple iOS and macOS devices and each photo takes up about half the space of an equivalent quality JPEG file.
EPS is a vector file format created by Adobe in the late 1980s for professional and high-quality image printing. It retains individual coding on color and size, allowing the image to retain its resolution regardless of scale.
