The WKS file format is a spreadsheet document created by Microsoft MS Works. It is similar to Excel but with fewer features. WKS files from Works 2000 and 4.x can be viewed with Excel 2003 and later, despite MS Works being discontinued. They can still be converted to common formats using Vertopal.
OTS (OpenDocument Spreadsheet Template) is a file format used to create templates with predefined settings for styles, font, data, layout, and formatting. These templates can be used to generate actual data files saved in ODS format. OTS files are saved in OASIS’ OpenDocument XML-based file format.
