The WOFF (Web Open Font Format) file extension is a font file format used in web development. Introduced by the Web Fonts Working Group at W3C, it enhances web typography by enabling the use of custom fonts. WOFF files are compressed and include metadata, providing efficient loading and improved performance. Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) is an XML-based vector image format developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) in 1999. SVG fonts, defined using the <font> element, enable embedding glyph information directly within SVG files, ensuring correct text rendering across different platforms.
