Convert WPS SPREADSHEET to XLT

The WPS file extension, associated with Microsoft Works for Mac, was primarily used for spreadsheet documents. Initially launched in 1988, it was Microsoft's default format for Microsoft Works Spreadsheets. The format was discontinued in 2006, with the evolution toward modern file types like XLS and XLSX. Nowadays, WPS files are considered legacy formats but can still be accessed and converted using compatible software tools.

The XLT file extension stands for Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet Template. It is used in Microsoft Excel versions 97 through 2003 to create templates containing default formatting, layout, and formulas. These templates serve as a starting point for generating new spreadsheets with consistent design and structure. Although replaced by the XLTX format in Excel 2007 and later versions, XLT files are still supported for backward compatibility.
