The UOS format is the native file format for the spreadsheet module of the Uniform Office Format (UOF), an open standard for office applications developed in China. It uses XML and compression to save spreadsheets and is similar to but not compatible with other standards such as Microsoft Office Open XML (XLSX) and OASIS OpenDocument (ODS).
PDF stands for Portable Document Format. It is a versatile file format created by Adobe in 1992 to present and exchange documents independent of software, hardware, and operating systems. It is now an open standard maintained by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
