Application Visualization System X Image (.avs)
AVS and X AVS both stand for an identical format. The AVS X Image file, identifiable by AVS extension, is a binary raster format that stores true-color images with an alpha channel for transparency. Developed on UNIX systems, it supports 8 bits per channel for red, green, and blue, with alpha channels up to 32 bits per pixel. This format is optimal for high-definition graphics requiring transparency.
